She has been actively involved in the community over the past two decades, serving on the Oz Park Advisory Board, the Lincoln Elementary School Local School Council, and on the MidNorth Association board, and at St. Clement and St. Michael’s parishes.
A former lawyer in private practice and the Attorney General’s Office, Caroline is a native Chicagoan who attended Lane Technical High School, The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and Loyola Law School of Chicago. She is married to Paul and they have raised their three children here in Lincoln Park. Their children attended Lincoln Elementary School, and then went on to attend St. Ignatius College Prep.
At Lincoln School, Caroline was actively involved with many parts of the school. She was elected four times to the Local School Council, where she served as Vice President. She participated in the selection of a new principal, created technology plans for the school and oversaw the school’s budget. Caroline also ran the Sports Program at the school and served as Coach of the Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis Teams for many years, encouraging kids to participate for the joy that exercise and healthy, organized and respectful competition brings to our lives.
